Chomnan Loth leads the Protective Services, Intelligence, and Insider Risk functions at Anthropic. As a founding member of the company's Insider Risk and Protective Intel Team, he developed and implemented the insider risk and protective intelligence programs, and scaled the protective services function to support multiple executives. Prior to Anthropic, he was the Head of the Global Internal Protection Program and Law Enforcement Liaison at Seagate Technology, where he was also a founding member of the insider risk team for the company.
Loth's corporate security expertise is built upon a distinguished 23-year career with the Newark Police Department, where he retired with the rank of Police Captain and served as the Field Operations Division Commander. His extensive law enforcement background includes serving as a DOJ Task Force Special Agent for Major Crimes, where he investigated over 300 major cases including murder, kidnapping, and international narcotics trafficking. Loth holds a Doctor of Business Administration from California Southern University, a Master of Science in Emergency Services Management, and a Bachelor of Arts in Occupational Studies from California State University-Long Beach.
