Matt is a Trust and Safety leader w extensive security expertise to protect the integrity of advanced AI platforms. His career is defined by leading teams to mitigate complex threats in both the public and private sectors.

Prior to his current role, Matt was the Director of Global Investigations for the Americas at Uber. For over six years, he led a remote team operating across the U.S., Canada, and Latin America, tasked with addressing large-scale financial fraud, criminal activity, and internal misconduct. In this capacity, he oversaw critical engagement with law enforcement to proactively address serious criminal behavior.

Matt’s corporate leadership is built on a distinguished 20-year career in public service, including nearly 15 years as a Senior Staff Officer with the Department of Defense and 5 years of active duty in the U.S. Marine Corps. It was during this time, with deployments to active war zones, that he honed his foundational skills in national security, cybersecurity, and risk mitigation. In his spare time, Matt continues his commitment to service by volunteering with veteran’s initiatives.
