Ricardo Segovia is the Founder of the Silicon Valley Security Group (SVSG), a security and innovation leader at Google, and a course facilitator at the Stanford Graduate School of Business specializing in Design Thinking and Innovation Strategy.

Ricardo Segovia is the Founder and President of the Board of Directors for the Silicon Valley Security Group (SVSG), a 501c3 nonprofit organization he established to be an inclusive and innovative security community. In this role, he sets the strategic vision and organizational design for SVSG. Complementing his nonprofit work, Mr. Segovia is a founder of Segovia Innovation LLC and serves as a Course Facilitator for executive education programs at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where he coaches leaders in Design Thinking and Innovation Strategy.

In his corporate career, Mr. Segovia is the Development Lead for Operational Security Risk at Google, where he guides the creation of advanced internal tools incorporating AI to mitigate risk. His career at Google has included leading security operations and crisis response, managing protective services, and working on special projects at X, the moonshot factory. Mr. Segovia earned a Master of Arts in International Relations and National Security Studies from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey and has completed the LEAD Executive Business Program at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
