Security Engineer, Insider Risk

Rachel Kang is an experienced security engineer whose work is centered on the intersection of human behavior and machine telemetry. She specializes in insider risk and complex security investigations, drawing from more than five years of experience as an incident responder. Her career includes leading complex cybercriminal investigations, commanding breach responses for Fortune 500 companies, and providing expert testimony for criminal trials. Most recently, she served as a technical insider risk investigator at OpenAI. An active contributor to the security community, she has presented her research at security forums such as BSides and WiCyS. Rachel holds a B.A. in Computer Science and Political Science from Middlebury College.
