Jenny Ley is a global security leader at Google specializing in insider risk and workplace violence prevention, with a distinguished background as a former Deputy Assistant Director of the FBI's Counterterrorism Division and Chief Intelligence Officer for U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

Jenny Ley is the Global Insider Risk Programs & Analysis and Workplace Violence Prevention Lead at Google, where she spearheads critical security initiatives. Since joining Google in 2019, she has held several leadership roles, including leading the Global Intelligence team. Prior to Google, Ms. Ley was the Director of Enterprise Risk Management at Target, where she oversaw the company's ERM program, crisis management, and established its first comprehensive security intelligence program. She is also a member of Chief, a private network for women executives.

Before entering the private sector, Ms. Ley had a decorated career in U.S. federal service. She served as the Chief Intelligence Officer & Assistant Commissioner for the Office of Intelligence at U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the largest U.S. domestic law enforcement agency. She previously spent over a decade at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), culminating in her role as Deputy Assistant Director of the Counterterrorism Division, where she was a member of the Senior Executive Service. Her numerous accolades include the U.S. Attorney General's Award for Exceptional Service and the FBI Director's Award for Excellence in Intelligence Analysis. Ms. Ley earned a Master's degree in International Public Policy from Georgetown University and has completed executive leadership programs at the Harvard Kennedy School and the University of Oxford.
